The H1N1 Virus---How will it affect your business?
Recent media and news outlets are reporting that the H1N1 virus could affect as many as 30-50% of the American population.
Such a "Superbug pandemic"--H1N1, will definitely have an affect on your business as an Entrepreneur.
We are all concerned with any health issue that arises today, partly because we are caring individuals and detest any form of suffering in others, partly because of the direct impact such issues may have on our families and ourselves.
But, take it a little further and think about it in business terms.
Unless you are a Physician who can treat the H1N1 virus, this could have adverse affects on your current and future income.
The income you derive as an Entrepreneur comes from the amount of discretionary funds (what an individual has left in budget to spend on non-critical items). With the recession in swing, most Americans are already facing enough financial crises. What they do not need now is to have to come up with even more money out of their budget to pay for any medical expenses the family might incur when receiving treatment for the H1N1 virus.
Infected individuals will miss income due to job absences, leaving less discretionary income than they already experience due to our economy. Many of these do not have any form of health insurance and will have to come out of pocket for treatments and medication of this Superbug, which compounds the issue of low funds for spending.
With less funds available, will they have enough left to spend in your business?
It is doubtful, if not absolute.
So, what can you do as an Entrepreneur to be of some sort of help in this?
Could you possibly perform some Internet Search and locate a few articles on avoiding the H1N1 virus?
Could you take the research information and put it into some kind of content and pass it along?
You have current customers that this information might help.
You have prospective clients/customers, newsletter subscribers, downline members and others that,
given some pertinent information on the subject, will take steps to avoid being victims of the Superbug H1N1.
Following some good avoidance information could keep them out of harm's way, keep them from having to spend precious monies on treatments and medication, and leave a good portion of discretionary funds in their budget.
Be a responsible Entrepreneur. Locate some information and help all those who are most important to you.
The information you could compile about H1N1 and pass on to those individuals will not only help you in the long run, but show you are a passionate, caring Entrepreneur, and reflect your responsibility to others.
The information you pass along just might be the only personal, direct help these people receive.
How powerful is that?
